Do you travel outside of NWA?
The answer is always ABSOLUTELY! We love to travel outside of NWA. We can accommodate for cheaper travel expenses in Houston, Dallas, and Tulsa. We have shot weddings in California, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and Florida. We even will go Internationally as well.
What if my wedding runs longer than expected?
Look, we get it. This is your big day and with all the dancing, laughing, hugs and cheers, things can run a little longer than expected. There’s nothing worse than having to rush a slow dance because the media guy wants to go home or worried that taking 5 minutes to say goodbye to a best friend will cost you hundreds of dollars more. So to the best of our abilities we always stay until the party is over. No matter what package you decide on, we don’t leave until you leave. There are no extra charges or hidden fees.
Should I hire a Photographer or Videographer?
We absolutely recommend both if you can. Photos capture the day, and allow it to be hung on a wall or kept on your nightstand. Video, on the other hand, captures the memory and allows you to relive the moment year after year. These are living heirlooms which many couples enjoy reliving on their anniversaries and special occasions, as well as sharing with friends or future children for some.
How do we get our final product?
First and foremost, you will receive a box in the mail containing 10 USB drives for you to share with anyone you like. One of the 10 USB drives will be a master with extra footage for you and your spouse to enjoy. Secondly, your video will be launched online under the Roar Films channel so that you can easily share the link with friends and on social media.
What are the benefits of hiring a second shooter?
So glad you asked! At Roar Films we are very comfortable and competent to capture your day as a single shooter but having a second shooter can be game changer. The extra person covering multiple different angles, insures every little detail is covered, and can ease the mind for the meticulous bride-to-be. If you have a packed wedding day and want it all to be covered in your film, we suggest hiring the second shooter.
How do we book you?
Easy. I will send a contract via email or have you sign in person. Best part is there is no retainer required.
Do you require the video to be paid in full up front?
We work with whatever is easiest and most convenient for you. Payment plans are accepted and we will work with you as best as we can. Final product WILL NOT be delivered until paid in full.
Do we have to feed you?
Yes! We work a lot better when we’re fed a hot meal 😉
What kind of equipment will you be using?
We shoot with a Sony a7sii that produces 4k quality. That’s right, no extra fees for 4k. Some clips may be 1080p for a slow motion effect, but the rest is in 4k. We include drone footage as well!
What is your normal turnaround time?
Our contract states 4 months, but we average 1-2 months turnaround time. Depending on length of video, could result to only 2 weeks turnaround time.
Why buy the Platinum wedding package when I can get all the same for the Bronze package?
Roar Films strives to give you the best bang for your buck! We don’t have any surprises or “upgrades” that we charge extra for (other than the optional second shooter). Every package gets everything included! We do this to insure you get all the best shots in your video. The only difference between the packages is the length of your final video. The amount of time which goes into editing a video solely relies on the length that you want your film to be.
